Bike Dryers !!!!

Post by TrowbridgeRob1300 » Fri May 08, 2020 11:34 am

OK I'm the Newby I know sod all :dontknow:

But this continued lock down has taken me to places on the internet I haven't been before
Today I feel strangely attracted to the 'Stepless Speed High Dryer' !! 2800 watts of motorbike drying power, all mine for the measly sum of £50 :)
Which prompts 1 or 5 questions -

1. Would a bike dryer be a good investment ?
2. Is this a good deal ?
3. Should I spend a lot more of my hard earned on a better one ?
4. Should I just buy a load of Microfibre cloths ?

Whilst I have your attention on the subject of cleaning products : Currently using ACF 50, is it worth the extra £s

1. ACF 50
2. Muc Off
3. FS 365

Stay safe everyone, dont worry I will be back with more inane drivvle soon - Another reason for Boris to get his act together and let us out to play

never used a bike dryer before Rob, you see them all the time at the shows. i just use my compressor to blow the excess water off, quite a few of the lads including myself on here use ACF 50 well worth the extra bucks
Happiness is a big fat tyre :scotland: :kilt:

I just wipe it down then spray some wd40 or similar then wipe again. Personally I wouldn't spend that money when 10 mins of elbow grease would do.

Thanks Gents, utilising the hoover would get me out of that household task. Followed by 10 mins of WD40. Sorted :applause1: :applause1:

I use microfibre cloths and wd40 but wished I had a blower because the water still runs out from somewhere you can't get to in most cases. Someone suggested a dog hair dryer to me years ago but that was when I had Harley Davidson but still an option. 😁
