Put it into perspective Ewan
Your going to watch the most spectacular road race in the world
For £278 you can go for 2 weeks and watch all the practices and races
You get to ride the TT Course
You can walk through the pits and rub shoulders with the riders
Stand at the bottom of Bray Hill for the first practice or just before at St ninians
Then you,ve got 20+ other places around the course to watch
Two weeks of entertainment
Jurby races
The atmosphere
How much would it cost to watch one MotGPrace at Jerez,Mugello or anywhere else abroad where you need binoculars to watch
£278.......... fookin bargain stop moaning......afterall it’s just a days wages for you    :hello:

And think on this. That ticket is not confirmed. And will not be until the departure is announced. We had a sailing cancelled in 2007 while we were waiting to board. Their stance was that they reserved the right to cancel until the sailing was confirmed this only happens only when the departure time is announced once the ferry was loaded.

Steam packet own the port of Douglas so they have it all there own way
I do believe that another company wanted to run a service but was refused permission to dock at Douglas
I think when you get over and watch the first practice, £278 is a small price to pay to watch proper racers put there life on the line year in year out.these are proper racers that live and breath road racing, proper heroes,
I just think,ok it’s a bit to pay out but that could be for 2 weeks and a lot of racing and beer 🍺
You can afford it anyway Ewan.....you live in Frome
