Ferry booked

Post by frencheric69 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 9:14 pm

Well that's it, ferry booked
Me and hairy off to sunny France on 9th July for 8 days. Going to try a different crossing this time, Newhaven/ Dieppe. Doing the evening crossing that gets us into France at 2230, so we're going to do a night ride to get as far south as we can to leave more time for :zzzzzz: and :drunk: and :sunhot:

If anyone else is at a loose end then you're more than welcome to join us........
My other ride is a doubledecker bus

Eric, Newhaven to Dieppe is a good option now that Brittany Ferries have raised their prices for bikes so much over the years!! Enjoy, well jealous

I've used the crossing before but only in the lorry. Got the return trip for £70, which is a lot les than any of the other south coast crossings

 Yeah me and Lou were going to go over for my birthday week at the beginning of may, wanted to go Portsmouth Caen but to expensive, going Dover-Dunkirk now instead, £32.00 each way as apposed to the cauliflower farmers boat at £210 return.

Four years ago we went Plymouth-Santander then came home Caen-Portsmouth that was £178.00 per couple, this year its getting on for £380.00, crazy.... Can get 16.5 meters across for £350 quid...

Many moons ago I did continental to western Europe. I have seen some of you post's and deducted that you work for mmmm  Armoric maybe??
