This is the camel market where my wallet was targeted a few weeks back ---

Image

with all that sandy bits there were bound to be good carrots ---

Image

one camel power ---

Image

beats one donkey power ---

Image

and might even shade one horse power when the going gets tough ---

Image

but I'm getting real worried about my state of health cos I reckon this ol goat wins the beauty stakes ---

Image

Looks quite peaceful there --- it was just the one tight alley that was the problem.

No worries --- they didn't part this tight Scotsman from his wallet

Image

other times its swans --- no Caulkie --- not bloody ducks --- swans

Image

Do you think I should make a move on her or stick with my old goat ?

Image

I've got rather attached to the ol girl even if she hasn't much imagination when it cums to towels --- she either shits on them or eats them  Sumtimes when she gets really excited she shits on em then eats them

You have got to go with the chambermaid Don. At least she tidys up behind you and doesn't leave 'special steaming' prezzies for you

Tunis has its own Big Ben --- yup that\s what the locals call it

and there's an old archway down tother end that takes you into the labrynth of the old Medina ---- another scary place

Image

The official building is just on my left and I had been admiring the BMW twin that led the official cavalcade of Mercs to the door, The whole place is surrounded with machine gun carrying polis and the jail is underneath, I took good care not to point my camera at any of it but I did get a tail for the rest of my visit and I was pleased to find the service bus out of there cos I didn't fancy being a guest in that place

Back in cold and damp UK

Note to self --- don't leave a box of bits from the bikeshed on the bed when you go away next time  bloody bottle of gear oil leaked through the wool blanket - duvet cover - leccie blanket and sheets  didn't notice till I switched on the leccie blanket and things started to heat up  hot gear oil stinks

An expensive mistake but an excuse to visit Dunelm Mill shop that's just opened in Dumfries --- had a cosy if still smelly night
