Post by givitsum » Sun Mar 11, 2007 4:06 pm

Thanks all who have been in touch on here and by text --- I really do appreciate your kind thoughts and offers of help.

I'm back in the UK Tuesday 13th and think I'm in better shape than I was when I left --- hell I've even got a tan  It will probably peel off as usual in the dreich UK tho' 8)

I've got a bit of a plan in my head but will just have to wait and check out the situation before making any more rash decisions

It's nice to be among friends --- thanks again for your support

Don

'back on the road' ---

Post by givitsum » Mon Mar 19, 2007 5:00 pm

Well I'm back on the road --- had a crackin ride with Ash & Mike yesterday  only 80 or 90 miles but a good gallop and plenty of chat --- great stuff

I have a few things to sort out in Os. then no doubt I'll head north as the weather improves. I'm quite snug in my van on Ash's paddock at the mo' even tho' I'm on top of a hill and the wind is threatening to dump me down in the valley beside my former home three miles away as the crow flies 8)

I wake up to the most magnificent sunrise every morning the back of six --- gotsum great pics but can't do a lot with them at the mo  It's great walking country round here with a myriad of paths & trails --- time to get fit after Jamaica's excesses

Got a date with Willie in July for a Tour of Scotland with his Cheko mates. Will have to get my liver in training for that one

Will probably be on a visit to Bridge of Allan in the odge at easter --- will dump a load of spare stuff on my son --- funny how the world can turn full circle

Would n't have believed how up - down and roundabout I was gonne be with this mess but I've survived and today the 'Fair One' and I have agreed to settle. Still living in my caravan in the south of Scotland --- still have the XJR in fact there's a 600 Gixer alongside on the bench at the mo' being street-fightered. New top yoke on order --- not looking forward to the re-wiring nightmare but I'll get there :D

Give me sunshine - hic :drunk: well sober now but had a few with the lads Sat night to drown the sorrows after Scotland bit the dust in their Euro quallie. 8)
