Oh dear Pete. You will be missed bruv. I thought you were going in the camper but moving house is a big deal these days. Good luck with the move.

Well I haven't quite given up hope of attending eurofest but it don't look good. The Croats still seem optimistic as the weather warms up over there. Of course they could go ahead without us, our problem being travelling through multiple countries of course. Work has said I could defer my holiday now, but if the UK let me out and France let's me in I might have a few days in France with nige and Mark. A shorter break but it'll be A break, providing the ferries are running of course. Failing that , id like to get together somewhere before the AGM, Prescott looks favourite at the moment.
Keep your chin up fellas, follow the guidelines and who knows, we might make it yet!

Er, Lads, sorry to piss on your bonfire but come May you ain't going nowhere, only my opinion but Europe will be on lockdown and we won't be sailing or tunnelling anywhere for months I reckon.

So, get your arses up here and we can go 'wild camping' on our bikes :eusadance: :drunk:

Just had an email from Brittany Ferries, as we're booked on a ferry in June, and they've suspended all ferries apart from freight until further notice.
I hate cats. Really. Just stood in some camouflaged cat sh!t and walked it all through my caravan. Bastard things, i'm gonna kill, kill, kill.... :temper:

Had the same email Alex, tough times eh.
Also, it looks like the Croats are considering postponing the event till later in the year. They're still undecided but watch this space.

I shall wait and see what travel restrictions are still in place. There is a slight chance some countries might lift travel bans/quarantine periods at the end of May according to a (I think BBC) travel bod.
Southerm Croatia has a few cases but no deaths Pula Rijeka and Zargeb have the more cases but only a few deaths all people with underlying health problems.

At the moment the Croats have had an Earthquake this morning

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 at a depth of 10.0 km (6.21 miles) has occurred at 3km SW of Kasina, Croatia, as reported by the National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC) of the USGS on March 22, 2020, 05:43:19 GMT.

Preliminary analysis indicates that this is a moderate earthquake, but it is very shallow (shallower quakes generally tend to be more damaging than deeper quakes.) Based on the preliminary data, earthquakes of this depth and magnitude are expected to result in moderate to severe shaking within 45.0 km (27.96 miles) from the epicenter. It is estimated that 1.14 Million people, 440,519 households, and $51.7 Billion (USD) of infrastructure* are concentrated within this radius. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available by official sources.

Epicenter: Latitude: 45.8972, Longitude: 15.9662
*The cost represents the total replacement value of the infrastructure.

I think the biggest problem will be what countries borders will be open to people passing through, some countries might not let you in without a quarantine period or might even refuse entry if you have come through or are from certain countries.
I have paid for Ferry to France and Eurofest accomodation so will have to see how it goes before I try and get monies back :dontknow:
