The Dambuster

Post by givitsum » Fri Jul 13, 2012 9:52 am

Two most often asked questions about my Tenere - Is that a fire extinguisher? - or - Is that a bomb ---

Image

It's actually my toolbox. When I go off into the forestry like I did last night it's best to have a few spanners with me and the standard tool pouch on this machine is a joke ---

Image

When I'm going further afield I usually take a tailpack with all sorts of goodies in it but these woods are less than 20 miles from home so I can always walk out if I things go tits up ---

Image

There was just enough breeze up by the dam to keep the midgies away ---

Image

On an evening like this a man should have his fishing rod with 'im ---

instead I was planning a Barnes Wallace style attack on the dam

Trouble is I'm never sure where the mood is gonna take me when I go out. After an oil change and a bit of fettling I thought I would take her for a test. She was like a new bike! Less vibes -smooth as silk - magic!

Can't wait till our next gallop :D

cheers - givit
