Joining or renewing the new way

Post by Dieffe » Tue Jan 06, 2015 8:26 pm

Has anyone noticed that the site looks a little different? :D

There is now a new way to join or renew as a full member as well as the subtle changes that are afoot.
To join or renew you now need to click the Subscribe button on the top menu.

If it works, great. If not please give me a shout and I will see what I can do.

Cheers. :)

Hi JT. Have you already created an account on the merchandise site? If not you will need to by the look of it.

Yep, shop is not linked to site so you need to setup anew login. Nothing to stop you using your email and OC site password.

I'll be due to renew in a couple of weeks so I hope the international bit is working by then.

How do we know when our renewal is due?

You just wait until the 11th of August and then you'll get a gentle reminder.

all, there is something not right with this new system of renewing/joining that will need to be sorted.
I will have a good look at things and see what can be done.

He was looking in membership PayPal account and couldn't see the payments because the shop sends them to the merchandise PayPal account.
All sorted now, I have been into the shop admin and set Dave up with access so he can view membership orders and update his database.

Hi all, there is an issue with some of the PayPal payments not working for people trying to renew or join.
Could I ask everyone to make sure that they are using their correct PayPal email address when trying to pay.
I am not saying this is the issue but it may be one reason things are going awry. :dontknow:
