Yes it is but I am loathed to change the oil as it only went in 200 miles ago.

I had a look at my bike yesterday and the noise seemed to come from the oil filter housing. I took it off and reseated the filter and the noise went.......for about 2 min. I think i might change the oile filter and see if that effects it. I can see anything wrong it just sounds like a Honda

There should be a washer there, it does go missing when changing the oil filter as it can stick to the old filter. If yours has never had one chances are it was lost on your first free service by the dealer.

Hi,I did and still do use a hiflo filter from hairy, I do not know what one was in there. So that might be it, if its a cheapie that might be a bad fit, but done two filters and not had it since  Also I didn't have the spacer on the clutch pipe to slave cylinder, put one back on,this could have bin vibrating. :dontknow:. It could be the clutch pushrod bearing, could be dry. I did copper grease it when I put it back together, and put a bit of copper grease on the end of the rod against the slave cylinder.
